Van der Sloot
Van der Sloot was arrested in Peru last week for the murder of a 21 year old female. He beat her to death in a hotel room and just left her body there. He was arrested twice before in the disappearnce of Natalie Holloway. She was a young student who went on a class trip to Peru but never returned. They never had enough evidence to keep Van der Sloot locked up so he got away with it. Personally I can't imagine what Natalie's family is feeling. The man that we all believe should have been convicted for her disappearance years ago was let go and here it is about five years later and he did it again, killing an innocent woman. Lifetime had a movie on Natalie Holloway and I watched it when it came on and it was just so sad to see a mother so determined to do anything to find her daughter and she got no where. If they would have convicted him years ago they would not be dealing with another murder by him. It's crazy that someone like him comes from a very well known name in Peru and was raised in high society that he would be so twisted and would want to hurt another person. I mean somebody that was probably given anything and everything since he was born, that he finds comfort in destroying families by hurting their loved ones. At least he confessed to this murder and that both of these families can get some comfort in knowing that such a cruel man will no longer be free to hurt another person.

I agree. Losing a loved one is pretty much the worst possible thing that can happen. especially knowing they were taken brutally by some deranged man. But like you said. At least now both of the families will hopefully get some peace of mind knowing that such a sick man is going to be locked away in jail.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your post. Joran Van der Sloot is a nutcase who should have been convicted on his first murder. My family has a time share in Aruba and we have been going every spring for the last 16 years to the same hotel on the same 20 mile long island and honestly could continue to go for the next 16 years because its that wonderful of a place. Talking to a bunch of my friends down their who are residents say that Van der Sloot honestly ruined the reputation of their islands slogan "One happy Island." In fact, after Van der Sloot took Natalie Hollaway from Carlos and Charlies, a dance club down town, the club actually had to file bankruptcy because tourists were afraid to go their. Now tarnished with the murder of Holloway, Joran Van der Sloot attacks again in Peru and is given a long term in their jail which is kept up pretty nicely from seeing video reports this morning. He is just catching one break after another,
